Brainwave Production Director

No agency can function without a great production director. A production director has to be part chief operating officer, part director, part persuader, part cajoler, part negotiator and part wizard-and no one plays these parts better than Barbara Fultz.

Throughout her career, Barbara has been involved in every aspect of the creative and business management process. She has formulated agency procedures; managed the administration of the creative, production and traffic departments; worked with printers, engravers and other outside vendors to maintain quality and cost control throughout the print production process; and bid, cast and managed the whole process of radio, television and video production.

At every turn, Barbara has coordinated staff, vendors and schedules in a manner that has enabled her clients' needs to be met at all times.(In other words, she knows everything about every single aspect of our industry and nobody gets in her way when she’s trying to get the job done.)

Over the years, Barbara’s client’s have been many and varied. They include Cable & Wireless, Lockheed Martin, Virginia Power, Virginia Lottery, Riggs Bank, Reynolds Metals, General Electric, and McDonald's. Barbara has dedicated herself to them all with the same passion and commitment and every one loves her dearly for it.

Barbara also holds the distinction of being named the Advertising Club of Richmond’s Ad Person of the Year-a wonderful honor indeed. It won’t surprise you to learn therefore that to us, Barbara really is Wonder Woman.
