The GSA wanted to create a video to communicate to its employees — both workers and managers — the benefits of teleworking and the art of negotiation. To help the client achieve its goals,Brainwave wrote and produced a humorous video, using a stylistic approach similar to the hit TV show The Office. The video featured a GSA employee (Casey) negotiating the ability to telework with his boss (Madeline). In the process, Casey and Madeline outline the challenges faced by both sides, the potential issues that managers see, and the compromises that can be made to ensure that everyone can happily move forward with an agreement to telework. This entertaining video was a big hit with the GSA and its employees and proved once again that humor is a great way to tell stories — even ostensibly stuffy government ones.
