Social Media Case Study

The Washington Business Journal’s “Women Who Mean Business” awards night is one of the most prestigious events held in Washington DC. To promote the event, Brainwave developed a video that showcased the winners, solicited their thoughts on women in the workplace and what they bring to the table, garnered advice for young women coming through, and even sought their thoughts on who the first women President was going to be and which year. (2016, FYI.) The video was uploaded to the WBJ website and YouTube channel distributed through all its social media channels, and also featured on the individual websites of the honorees. With so much cross promotion in the digital and social media space, the video played a huge role in securing a sellout event and giving a high profile voice to women leaders in Washington DC.
